This is in response to a question about breast cancer treatments and clinical trials.

Question:

I would like to ask you an information for my niece who is suffering from an advanced breast cancer (with liver and brain metastasis). We read somewhere that there is a researcher who is conducting medical trials with "proteins" and obtaining good results. I would appreciate it very much if you check this information and let me know something about it.

Thank you very much for your assistance!
P.N.

Maggie Hampshire RN, BSN, OCN, Managing Editor of OncoLink responds:

Dear P.N.: I was unable to find specific information on the particular clinical trial or the physician that you mentioned. Perhaps you could try a search which is more specific to your needs such as OncoLink's Clinical Trials page. Or try the National Cancer Institute's Clinical Trials Search Page.

If you need more information on breast cancer treatment options, please see OncoLink's Breast Cancer menu.

Thank you for using OncoLink.
